The father and primary caregiver of twins was last seen at his home May 13.
He was wearing a blue half-cast on the lower portion of his left arm and has a condition that requires medication, police said. Before he disappeared, Herrera had packed a suitcase and planned on spending a few days away, police said. Herrera is Hispanic, stands 5-foot-10, weighs 200 pounds and has brown eyes and a fair complexion.
Metro Police Lt. Rob Lundquist is supervising the missing person's investigation.
"We believe he got into his vehicle and drove away," Lt. Lundquist said. "We want to find out where he's at. What happened to this individual, whether he left on his own to start over or if something actually happened to him?"
